Get Ready

Connect to Your Network

The QD330 can connect to your home or school network via Wifi or Ethernet. It's important to make sure your printer is connected to the internet before trying to add it to your Polar Cloud account.

Get your Polar Cloud Username (Email) and PIN

  1. Sign in at polar3d.com, using one of the login providers.
  2. Click your name in the top right, then click "SETTINGS". Click here for more info.
  3. Scroll down, make note of your EMAIL. Depending on your authorization method, it may be slightly different than the email you signed in with.
  4. Make note of your PIN code. You'll need this to connect the printer.

Connect the Printer

Connecting the printer is easy! Head to the printer

  1. Click the settings gear tab (below filament, above info)
  2. Click the cloud tab
  3. Click Polar 3D
  4. Click the blank "Account:" box to bring up the keyboard for text entry. Enter your USERNAME that you found in Step 3 above. This is your email address. Click OK.
  5. Click the blank "PIN:" box to bring up the numerical input keypad. Enter your PIN. Click OK.
  6. Toggle the Polar Cloud ON by clicking the gray toggle slider.
  7. Click SAVE, you should see a cloud show up in the topbar of your printer's screen.

Other Options

The Polar Cloud has the ability to transmit your printer's camera feed, and create timelapse videos. While you're editing the cloud connection, head to this tab and make sure you have the printer set up the way you want it. Toggle on/off the camera and timelapse feature from this screen.

What's Next?

That's it! Your printer is now connected to your Polar Cloud account. You are the owner of the printer in the cloud, and can keep it to yourself or share it with others. You have some options!

  1. Add it to a school so that other Teachers and Students can view and access it
  2. Add it to a group to easily share it with others in your club or program
  3. Share it with others directly by inviting them via email to co-manage or use your printer
