Outline

The Polar Cloud's slicer can be used from the browser on any screen size. Since the slicer is built to be simple and produce great quality prints with minimal effort, the default view is kept very simple!

Turning on Advanced Mode (Toggle)

If you want to adjust some detailed settings, you'll need to turn on the "Advanced" mode first. Do so by clicking the 3 sliders icon, shown below.

Options

Once you toggle the advanced settings mode ON, you will see that several new tabs show up under your printer configs.

Quality

Here, you'll find things like layer height (also known as "resolution"), and other advanced settings that help you control the quality of your print.

Strength

Visit the Strength tab to change the number of outside perimeters, to change the amount of infill, and select an infill pattern!

Speed

Adjust all of your print speeds and acceleration from the Speed tab.

Support

Here you can choose a support type (normal or tree/organic), and the threshold angle at which support gets added.

Others

The others tab is important because it allows you choose your slicer and activate things like "Spiral Vase" mode!

You can choose which application you want to slice your object with from this dropdown.

Adjusting Temperature Settings

In the new build plate, the temperatures are set at the filament level.

First, click the PRINT SETTINGS tab, and then click the teal arrows to expand the configuration settings.

In that new window, you'll see temperature settings at the bottom!
