Extended Learning Opportunities
Outline
If you enjoyed this project and want to keep exploring, here are some ways to continue your learning. These activities will help you grow your creativity, design skills, and understanding of how STEM connects to the world around you.
Design Your Own City: Imagine a city of the future and design a skyline for it. What kinds of buildings would it have? What purpose would each building serve?
Explore Architecture Around the World: Choose another architectural theme—such as bridges, towers, or stadiums—and research how different cultures solve design problems.
Interview a STEM Professional: Find someone who works in architecture, city planning, or 3D design and ask them how they use creativity and technology in their job.
Create a 3D Travel Brochure: Combine your skyline with facts about the city and turn it into a digital or printed brochure to “advertise” your city to tourists or students.
Math Extension: Calculate the scale of your drawing and model. If your skyline is 150mm wide, how wide would it be in real life?
