Unlimited Printers
Outline
Introduction
With Polar Cloud Premium, you’re no longer limited to just one printer. The Unlimited Printers feature allows you to connect and manage as many 3D printers as you like — all from one account. This is especially useful if you have multiple printers at home, run a small farm, or manage machines across different locations.
Why Unlimited Printers Matters
Flexibility – No limits, whether you have two printers or twenty.
Centralized management – Control all of your printers from one dashboard.
Scalability – Expand your setup as your needs grow, without worrying about hitting a cap.
How to Add a Printer
Log in to your Polar Cloud account.
Navigate to the Printers menu.
Click Add Printer.
Choose your printer type:
- Polar Cloud-enabled printer: Enter your username and PIN to connect instantly.
- Other printer: Use the guided setup to connect through an agent or external device.
- Give your printer a name (e.g., “Basement PLA Printer” or “School Lab #3”) so you can easily identify it.
Managing Multiple Printers
Dashboard View – See all connected printers at a glance, along with their current status.
Sorting & Filtering – Organize printers by name, location, or usage.
Permissions – Share individual printers with collaborators, students, or teammates while maintaining control.
Tips for Staying Organized
Use descriptive names when adding printers (e.g., “MakerSpace Bambu Lab X1” vs. “Printer #1”).
Group printers by location or function for easier filtering.
Bookmark your Printers dashboard if you’re managing a large fleet.
