What can I do with my Bambu Lab printer on the Polar Cloud?

Once your Bambu Lab is connected to the Polar Cloud, you unlock a wide range of powerful features for remote control, print management, collaboration, and more.

🔧 Core Printer Controls

  • Start, Pause, or Cancel prints directly from the Polar Cloud Web App
  • Monitor your printer’s live camera feed from your browser or mobile device (iOS/Android app coming soon!)
  • Set print start times, reorder jobs in your queue, or trigger jobs manually
  • Receive real-time notifications (email or SMS) when a print starts, completes, pauses, fails, or is canceled

  • Upload STL, 3MF, or OBJ files and slice them directly in the browser
  • Upload pre-sliced GCode files from Bambu Studio or other slicers
  • Maintain a queue of jobs and adjust the order with drag-and-drop ease
  • View print history for all jobs printed through the Polar Cloud
  • Access 7–12 second .MP4 timelapse videos for prints started from Polar Cloud

☁️ Cloud-Based Storage & Collaboration

  • Store an unlimited number of files in your private object repository, including:
    • Meshes (.STL, .3MF, .OBJ)
    • CAD files (.F3D, .SCAD, .STEP, .SLDPRT, .IGES, etc.)
  • Share your printer with others and assign custom access levels:
    • View-only, Queue-only, or Full control
  • Export detailed usage statistics (e.g. total print time, print failure rates)

🎓 Education & Enterprise Features

  • Use Job Requests to allow students or teammates to submit objects for approval
  • Reject jobs that aren't suitable for printing and notify users with feedback
  • Auto-arrange multiple jobs onto a single build plate for batch printing
  • Assign user permissions to control who can print, pause, manage queues, etc.
  • Create and manage Groups for class periods, clubs, or project teams
  • Participate in Design Challenges with prizes and sponsor visibility
