Outline

An X1C with a growing print queue.

The Polar Cloud is a browser-based platform that lets you connect, control, and manage 3D printers from anywhere in the world.

It was designed from the ground up to make 3D printing more accessible—especially in classrooms, libraries, makerspaces, and multi-printer environments where setup and management can be overwhelming. With no software to install and no need to be on the same network, Polar Cloud simplifies the entire workflow from design to print.

Once a printer is connected, users can:

  • Upload 3D models (.STL, .3MF, .OBJ) directly to their personal cloud library

  • Slice in the cloud with our powerful browser-based slicer—no downloads or local software needed

  • Send jobs to any connected printer, even if it’s across town or across the world

  • Manage printer queues, print history, and job requests in real time

  • Collaborate with others through shared groups, schools, or enterprise accounts

  • Monitor printer activity (including camera feeds for supported printers)

  • Control access and permissions to keep your fleet secure and organized

The Polar Cloud is already being used in over 7,000 schools and by users in more than 170 countries. Whether you're managing a district-wide fleet of printers or a single machine in your garage, the Polar Cloud gives you the freedom to print from anywhere, with anyone.
