Outline

Being able to use your 3D printer on the cloud means a lot more than just having remote access in case you need to Stop or Pause a job when you're away from the printer. It helps you scale your business and use all of the printers you've invested in, to their fullest potential.

There's a graphic below that aims to highlight the key difference between the intent of the two systems. Let it be known that the name of the plan alone isn't enough to dictate whether or not it's a fit for your desired workflow! We have Colleges that use the Enterprise system as well, because it fits better into the way their lab is set up.

Enterprise vs the standard Education use case

Typically, in an education setting, there are many novice users, with few printers.

Inverse of that.. in an Enterprise setting, typically you'll see a few power users, with many printers.

Their needs are totally different! Education is focused on eliminating the bottleneck, and enterprise is focused on making sure those few power users have quick and efficient access to all of the printer's and print jobs they're responsible for.

Still not sure?

Contact our Polar3D support staff to talk more about your specific use case. We'll provide a demo and help you decide what plan is right for you.
