Commerce: Tipping and Purchasing Designs

Tip an Object

Go to any public object (one shared with the community) and click TIP! Then, enter an amount ($0.00 USD format) and follow the onscreen instructions to submit your payment.

The person will receive a notification that their work is appreciated and they've received a tip.

Purchase an Object

Objects can only be bought if they have been listed for sale. The user sets a price and makes it so that no one can print or download their design without buying it first.

To see objects that are for sale, go to Explore > Objects, then select the Community Objects tab. In the Category filter, select For Sale.

Choosing an object from the list will take you to the object's page. Click Purchase to see how much the object costs, and see if a School or Student is the beneficiary of the money made from the sale.

Click the amount to add the object to your cart. Then, click the cart, to complete your purchase.
