Sharing an Object With the Public (Community)

Once you've uploaded your object, click EDIT.

Four (4) pieces of information are REQUIRED before you share your object with others.

1. Title: A name for your object. Please make it descriptive, and appropriate. The Filename (ex: MyFile.STL) is not sufficient.
2. Photos: Add a photo of the object. If you have not printed it, open the object in a nice 3D Viewer and screenshot the object. Prints are king!
3. Description: Give a brief description of your object. Did you create it? If so, why? And for what purpose? If you're uploading an object from another repository, be sure to credit the original designer, and use the proper Sharing License.
4. Category: Choose a category that describes your object. Others will use this to filter, and hopefully, find what they were looking for.

When you're done, click "Save & Publish" to share your object with the world!

If you've already got an object that has the 4 required pieces, you can also publish from the Object Detail page. The bar will be full (100%) and the Publish Button will be green!
